How long does it take to open a pharmacy?

Most pharmacies take 4–8 months from lease signing to opening day, depending on state and licensing timeline. We compress this significantly by running all applications concurrently.

What does it cost to hire your firm?

Do you help with financing?

We can connect you with pharmacy-specific lenders and provide guidance on SBA loans. We help you understand the capital requirements early so you can plan accordingly.

Can you take over if we've already started?

Yes. We frequently step in mid-project. Our Custom package is designed specifically for this. Just tell us where you are and what you need.

Do I need a pharmacist license to own a pharmacy?

In most states, you need a licensed Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) — but the owner does not have to be a pharmacist. We help non-pharmacist owners navigate this entire process.

Is BestRx the only software you set up?

We specialize in BestRx as our primary implementation. However, we can consult on other systems. BestRx is our recommendation for independent pharmacies due to its cost-effectiveness and support.

Do you work outside PA, NJ, and DE?

Yes — for consulting services including licensing, credentialing, DEA/NPI/NCPDP setup, Medicare & Medicaid enrollment, compliance guidance, and pharmacy website design, we work with clients across all 50 states. Our Full Turnkey physical setup package (build-out, contractor coordination, on-site project management) is currently limited to PA, NJ, and DE where we have deep regulatory relationships.
