Licensing & Credentialing Timeline
We handle every registration and application concurrently to minimize your time-to-open. Here is what the typical process looks like.
DEA Registration
We prepare and submit your DEA controlled substance registration application. We accelerate the process by ensuring all documentation is complete and correct the first time — eliminating common delays.
- DEA Form 224 preparation
- Documentation review
- Application submission
- Follow-up tracking
NPI (National Provider Identifier)
Your NPI is foundational to all billing and credentialing. We apply for both your Type 1 and Type 2 NPIs simultaneously and link them correctly to your pharmacy entity.
- Type 1 Individual NPI
- Type 2 Organizational NPI
- NPPES registration
- Taxonomy code selection
NCPDP Provider ID
The NCPDP number is required by virtually every insurance plan for prescription claims. We apply, track, and confirm your NCPDP number and ensure it is active before your opening.
- NCPDP application
- Pharmacy type and class selection
- Claims ready activation
- Insurance linkage confirmation
State Pharmacy License (PA, NJ, or DE)
State pharmacy licenses are the most complex part of the process. We prepare all required documentation, submit floor plans, coordinate board inspections, and follow up at every stage.
- State-specific application prep
- Pharmacist-in-charge designation
- Floor plan board submission
- Inspection coordination
Medicare & Medicaid Enrollment (PTAN)
We manage your Medicare & Medicaid Part B and Part D enrollment through the PECOS system, ensuring your pharmacy is credentialed to bill Medicare & Medicaid from the day you open.
- PECOS application
- Medicare & Medicaid Part B enrollment
- Medicare & Medicaid Part D enrollment
- Surety bond setup
Third-Party Credentialing
We handle your enrollment with all major insurance carriers and PBMs. This includes commercial plans, Medicaid, and any additional third-party payers relevant to your market.
- Commercial insurance plans
- Medicaid enrollment
- PBM credentialing
- PSAO enrollment
